Mykonos – Part 2

After two amazing weeks in Mykonos I am back with my team at Rodial HQ in London and it feels great!

3The trip was a great chance to clear my head and really gave me the opportunity to sit back and think about the upcoming months and everything we have going on in the business. Although I find it easy to slip back into the routine of work, it was great to take things at a slower pace for a couple of weeks whilst I was in Mykonos. Each morning I did a workout before breakfast, which is always one of my favourite ways to start the day but being able to watch the sunrise above the sea and do this made it really special.

My husband and I spent most evenings catching up with friends who were visiting or have homes on the island, including a really beautiful dinner which was held at Charles Worthington’s hom10e. The house itself was incredible and we had a great meal of chicken and pork followed by the most amazing toffee dessert, all whilst watching the sun go down. He really was the perfect host!

I also spent an afternoon with Edgardo Osorio of Aquazurra. We went for some drinks at Scorpios and discussed plans for New York Fashion Week and his upcoming collection, which I am already dying to see!6I have been sharing a lot of my trip over on Instagram (@MrsRodial), but what you didn’t see was the hours I spent connecting back with my team in London, either by the phone or on email. I am putting the finishing touches to my new series The Mrs Rodial Project which will be launching in September and I am getting really excited to finally be able to share this with you all. Despite this I still felt like the trip gave me a great opportunity to step back from the office and gain some fresh perspective. I’m really looking forward to the next few months, which include a trip to New York, where I will be sponsoring a Fashion Designer and hosting a very exciting event.
