What better way to celebrate one year of Rodial Make Up than by throwing an exclusive event at Harvey Nichols, alongside supermodel Erin O’Connor and with superstar photographer Dave Benett there to capture it all…
We have had an amazing year since launching our make up and it’s now available in stores worldwide, but I wanted to return to the place where it all began – our sculpting bar in Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge.
It was a great celebration with the whole Rodial team, as well as Erin, who has been such a fabulous supporter and sidekick over the past year! I wore a Self-Portrait jumpsuit and my favourite Nicholas Kirkwood heels and the amazing Rachel from our counter gave me a classic Rodial sculpted look for the occasion.
It’s great to have access to some of the best make up artists in town at our very own counter, but one of my favourite things about our make up is its simplicity. It was designed for every woman to use So many brands we see were created by makeup artists — not regular people. So even if the products are great, they can be difficult to use. My dream was to create a simple, effortless routine that any woman could replicate at home.
- For easy contouring, sweep Rodial’s Instaglam Compact Deluxe Illuminating Powder across cheeks, brow bone and nose. (Use a loose powder brush to keep it from looking too finished.)
- Follow it up with Rodial’s Instaglam Compact Deluxe Contouring Powder in the hollows of your cheek
- Then apply Rodial’s Glow pen under brows and in the corner of your eyes. Et voilà!
Thank you to the Rodial team for all your hard work and enthusiasm, to Harvey Nichols who believed in our make up and gave us the opportunity to share it and to all our amazing customers and your continued support – we will strive to inspire and make you feel and look the best you can.
Happy Birthday Rodial make up!
