November Favourites

My picks for November…

Self Portrait

maria-hatzistefanis-rodial-erin-o-connorI love this brand for their playsuits and dresses, which are effortlessly feminine but still slightly edgy. They offer some real stand out pieces at affordable prices, including this one, which I wore to Rodial’s Make Up anniversary event with Erin O’Connor. I find many mid-price labels tend to stick to quite minimal designs but I love the detail of their designs.

Web Summit

maria-hatzistefanis-web-summitI flew out to Dublin in early November to speak at the 5th annual Web Summit and it was one of my favourite conferences to date. I was interviewed by Will Hayward, CCO at Dazed Media, alongside Jefferson Hack. We talked about everything digital, including the innovative strategies that have led my brands to success and how I plan to develop these.

 Make Up by Mario

Mario Dedivanovic is the genius behind Kim Kardashian’s signature make up look and someone whose work I have followed for a long time. We went for drinks whilst I was in New York and it was great to learn a bit more about him and his background.

He began training as a consultant at Sephora aged 17, but his big break came when he was booked for a cover shoot for Social Life magazine featuring Kim. The pair hit it off  and he has been her go-to make-up artist ever since. Mario considers Kim his muse and he even did her make-up for her Florence Wedding to Kanye West. He is also a big Rodial fan and I loved discussing our make up and contouring tips with him, as well as his upcoming masterclass in Miami!

Chopard party

An amazing night at The Dorchester courtesy of Chopard, with dinner at China Tang. I wore Balmain for H&M, with make up by one of our Rodial counter team and hair by Miguel Martin Perez.

Rodial Dragon’s Blood Eye Mask

It’s been a busy month, both in and outside of the office, with a lot of travelling and parties to attend in the lead up to Christmas. Dragon’s Blood Eye Masks are amazing for reviving tired eyes, with bio-cellulose technology (acts like a second skin) and our unique dragon’s blood complex, they intensely hydrate and moisturise the delicate eye area with an immediate de-puff effect. They are a celebrity favourite for before a big event, or in Ellie Goulding’s case, before a quiet night in!
