April Fashion Favourites

As always, it’s been an incredibly busy month, with Nip+Fab makeup landing in Superdrug stores, a family skiing holiday, a business trip to LA with lots of exciting meetings and new projects as well as some new launches in production at Rodial HQ.

With another a crazy month behind me, I’ve decided to take a look back at some of my favourite outfits. This month I’ve loved experimenting by mixing more casual pieces with a statement heel and jacket and layering key pieces as we transition between the seasons. My Off-White biker jacket has been a staple in my wardrobe, it’s super easy to throw on to add a tough edge to any outfit.

My latest obsession…

Maria Hatzistefanis street style, off white jacket, ellesse velvet pants, celine sunglases, mr benson, mrs rodial

One of my favourite looks from the past month – I’m obsessed with this Off-White jacket, the graphic lines and hardware elevate any outfit. Paired with these relaxed Ellesse velvet pants, statement Malone Soulier heels and my trusty Celine sunglasses, this layered look is perfect for the unpredictable spring weather in London.

I mean business…

Maria Hatzistefanis street style, yeezy top, celine sunglases, mr benson, mrs rodial

I enjoy playing with fashion and making an otherwise business-like outfit a little more fun. I love the details in this Ronald Vanderkemp star print, denim pencil skirt and by mixing it with this Yeezy top it sets the tone perfectly for a day filled with important meetings.

LA vibes…

Maria Hatzistefanis street style, givenchy top, asos sunglases, kat page, mrs rodial, zara pants, LA, balenciaga bag

I travel a lot for business between London, New York and LA, so it’s the perfect excuse to play with fashion in the different cities. LA has a super relaxed vibe, so I loved this slogan Givenchy top, sports luxe Zara pants and Asos sunglasses, paired with a slouchy Balenciaga tote and statement Aqua Azzura lace-up sandals to add my signature glam edge as I headed to important meetings.

Sunday chills…

On a rare day off, I like to relax at my home with family, but as with everything I do, I like to do it in style. This Gucci T-shirt paired with these frayed-hem Frame jeans are the ultimate stylish comfortable casuals.

I love reflecting on my work and style and I can’t wait to wear some more fabulous fashion in the coming months. Summer can be tricky in the style stakes, but keep up-to-date on what’s happening (and what I’m wearing) on my Instagram

I hope you’ve had a great month babes,

Christmas in the sun…

This Christmas, I decided to flee the cold London weather and head to the warmer climes of Mexico with my family.

screen-shot-2017-01-04-at-15-49-13Surrounded by beaches, the Banyan Tree Mayakoba provided the ultimate retreat to unwind & reflect on a busy 2016, before I headed back to the buzz at Rodial HQ in the New Year.screen-shot-2017-01-04-at-15-49-05My go-to makeup for the beach…screen-shot-2017-01-04-at-15-46-57Even when I’m lounging on the beach, I like to wear a little makeup. For my barely-there beach look, I mix the Rodial Instaglam Primer with Skin Tint SPF 20 in Hamptons for a light coverage and finish with the HD Translucent Powder to cut any shine. I finish the look by lining my lips with the new Suede Lips shade in Calabasas before applying Melrose Avenue for an all over colour – it’s super important to wear a long-lasting lip colour in the sun! And, of course, I finish the look with my favourite oversized Chloé sunglasses…

I’m now back at Rodial HQ, feeling refreshed and ready for 2017 – I can’t wait to share all of the exciting projects coming up this year with you all.

Happy New Year babes!

After a long few weeks of travelling and preparing for the busy fall season, I jetted back to Greece to spend time on the beautiful island of Mytilene. My entire family were there so it was great to spend time with them all.

I loved catching up with my sister and enjoying the amazing Greek freddos !

A long weekend family getaway in Mykonos……

My kids finished school last week for the summer, so it was a perfect time to head to Mykonos for a long weekend away with the family.

mykonos 2

The island was packed with beautiful people for the wedding of Ana Barros. I caught up with Eugenie Niarchos who was on the island for Ana’s wedding and also to host a party for her gorgeous jewellery range Venyx, at the Belvedere Hotel.

mykonos 3

We stayed at the Santa Marina Luxury resort that is quiet and great for families with its own private beach. It was nice to see Alessandra Ambrosio with her family while we were there.

Glad to see all my hard work at the gym all year pay off on the beach. This is enough motivation to keep me going for another year .

Next stop – back to work in NYC!

My May Highlights …

The month kicked off with a private dinner I hosted with the fabulous Bay Garnett, at Casa Cruz. It was so great to spend the evening connecting with our friends in the fashion world and so inspirational to be surrounded by such incredible people.

Big thank you to the staff at Casa Cruz for looking after us all so well – the food was to die for, best way to start the summer.

I then headed to NYC for a secret filming project and managed to squeeze in some meetings with our US buyers and press teams.

I love this city – the whole vibe and energy was just the boost I needed!

Nylon NYC

Next stop – Cannes Film Festival. I was invited to attend the premiere of Hands of God, by The Weinstein Company. So great to meet Harvey and his beautiful wife, Georgina – huge fan of Marchesa and she looked amazing as always.

Daily Mail PCPC

Escaping the freezing cold I headed to the glorious sunshine in Palm Beach.

IMG_2346

I was super excited to be invited to speak at the Daily Mail PCPC conference, where I joined the social media panel, moderated by the fabulous Tamara Abraham. The panel was all about how to harness, engage and empower the online community. Robin McGraw; philanthropist, TV personality and two-time #1 New York Times best-selling author shared the panel with me. It was so great to be surrounded by such inspirational people.

I stayed at the legendary, and very beautiful, Breakers Hotel and even managed a sneaky swim!

It was a fun filled weekend at the conference, I also got to visit our teams at the newest stores of Saks Fifth Avenue that stock Rodial….and of course managed to save some time to shop!

NYFW16

The fashion month has started! First Stop New York Fashion Week. I love attending the shows as I get inspiration for new make-up looks and also keeping up to speed with designers and thinking of future collaborations for my brands.

I kicked off NYFW with the Alexander Wang show which was edgy and urban. I bumped into Kylie Jenner on the front row, I haven’t seen her since our photoshoot in LA in December and always good to see her.

Wang

Victoria Beckham’s show had a big focus on corsets but adding her new modern twist. Her collection showed how her own personal style has evolved –concentrating on tailoring, heritage fabrics, volume and of course knits! Stand out look for me was definitely the black belted cutaway corset teamed with a monochrome diamond print skirt.

The highlight of my trip was our very own designer partner for this NYFW – Jonathan Simkhai, 2015 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner. I was so proud that Rodial was the official skincare partner for his show! Jonathan is an expert in contouring the body with his use of feminine lace, adding fur and fringing. I loved the nudes with dewy skin and messy, natural ponytails – great look for spring!                                                                                                                               JONATHAN SIMKHAI-Hannah Thomson-61JS

I was in great company too, sharing the front row with Anna Wintour and Olivia Palermo. Olivia was of course, her usual glamorous self, rocking a gorgeous camel fur trimmed coat – perfect for the NYC winter.

I also stopped by the Rachel Zoe presentation. I have always been a fan of Rachel, she’s super talented and it’s so great to see her own brand grow.

Big thank you to the fabulous Jason & Melissa for my hair & make-up!
